FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) is a modern standard from HL7® that packages clinical data as modular “resources” (Patient, Observation, DiagnosticReport, etc.) and uses web-native formats (JSON) and APIs (REST) for secure exchange.
FHIR encourages secure, minimal, purpose-bound data exchange. Typical deployments use OAuth2/OpenID Connect, scoped tokens, audit trails, and data minimization. This reduces exposure while keeping health data useful.
US rule set for PHI. FHIR supports auditability, access control, and minimum necessary principles.
EU data protection. FHIR’s resource granularity helps implement purpose limitation, consent, and deletion flows.
Observation (wheeze/crackle) and a DiagnosticReport, linked to a pseudonymized Patient.Charts are illustrative for the demo; replace with real analytics later.
Want to integrate FHIR with a private, security-first SLM workflow? We can export FHIR Bundles, connect to your EHR sandbox, and pilot with governance controls.
